We’ve just finished an enlightening Study Tour to Sound Child Care Solutions, and will be leading another Tour to Statewide Early Learning Alliance of NH (formerly Seacoast ELA), October 6-7, 2016. Attendance is limited. We’re also busy planning our 2017 National Shared Services Conference, targetting late spring or early summer timing, with location TBD. What is a Shared Services Alliance?

  • Shared Services is a way to “feed” the core mission of an organization by pooling needs and sharing resources with others.

  • Shared Service Alliances improve outcomes for children by pooling resources to build organizational capacity, improve job quality, strengthen community partnerships and promote long-term sustainability.

  • While the design of any particular Shared Services Alliance is unique to its participants, all share the goal of strengthening business and pedagogical leadership across sites by creating structures to share staff, information and resources.

What We Do

Opportunities Exchange promotes the development of Shared Service Alliances by providing technical assistance to ECE providers interested in transforming the business of early care and education to improve outcomes for children. We also help shape public policy and financing to incentivize high quality care for young children.
